| The Collaboration Brew: | Brewers around the world will all brew beer simultaneously – with similar grain bills in different countries and time zones. |

| The Goals: | 1. Have fun! 2. Enter your beer in the taste challenge for the BEST beers. |

| The Experience: | Share your experience with a global community of brewers on social media using #BestBrewChallenge. |
| The Starting Conditions: | Brew a Altbier style beer using BEST Chocolate malt. Feel free to also use other BEST roasted malts on your grain bill. |
| The Recipe: | Compliance with the German purity law! |
| The Competition: | Brewers who would like to enter their beer in the taste challenge for the BEST beers must send us (a) the completed Documentation sheet together with (b) at least three liters to BESTMALZ Heidelberg (Palatia Malz GmbH, BestBrewChallenge, Kurfürsten-Anlage 52, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany). An international jury of beer sommeliers will judge the taste (date of receipt 1 June 2022). |
| The Prizes: | The winning beer will be brewed and serverd at the drinktec 2022 fair in Munich. The winner will also be invited to participate (max. 2 persons, incl. travel & accommodation expenses)
2nd place: 100 € coupon for the BESTMALZ Fanshop. 3rd place: 50 € coupon for the BESTMALZ Fanshop. Places 1 to 3: Professional beer analysis. Creative prize for the BEST packaging and BEST label: 100 € coupon for the BESTMALZ Fanshop each. For all participants who submit their beer: T-Shirt & professional recipe evaluation. |
