|The Experience:||Share your experience with a global community of brewers in our blog and under #BestBrewChallenge.|
|The Starting Conditions:||Brew a light wheat beer using at least 20% BEST Heidelberg Wheat malt. Wheat beers must have a total of at least 50% wheat malt. A light wheat beer should have an alcohol content <3.5%.|
|The Recipe:||Compliance with the German purity law!|
|The Competition:||Brewers who would like to enter their beer in the taste challenge for the BEST beers must send us (a) the completed Documentation sheet together with (b) at least three liters to BESTMALZ Heidelberg. An international jury of beer sommeliers will judge the taste (date of receipt 10 May 2021).|
|The Prizes:||For the winner: Invitation to Heidelberg in 2021 or the drinktec 2022 fair in Munich (max. 2 persons, incl. travel & accomodation expenses)
Places 1 and 2: Professional beer analysis.
For all participants: T-Shirt & professional recipe evaluation.
