The BestBrewChallenge is an annual international brewing competition in which brewers from around the world simultaneously brew a designated beer style using a shared set of ingredients.
The Challenge has been organized since 2015 by Palatia Malz, producer of the BESTMALZ malt brand.

How do I participate?

Read the guidelines and register by 19 April 2026.

Get the malts you need ahead of time from your local BESTMALZ distributor.

Brew your Dark Wheat Beer between 20-26 April 2026 and share photos and videos using the hashtag #bestbrewchallenge

If you wish to participate in the Taste Challenge, send us 3 litres of your beer by 15 June 2026.

The three best beers will be announced and awarded at the BRAU Beviale fair in Nuremberg (10-12 November 2026)!
