Right Brain Brewery (Traverse City, Michigan, USA) will be submitting our ‘Reins – ga – Hop’ for the Best Malz Brew Challenge.
Reins – ga – Hop is a Red IPA. The beer is made with Best Malz Grain, 25% Red X, and also includes Summit, Cascade, and Mandarina hops, which are native to Germany. ABV measures to be 5.9%, and at 63 IBU, this beer should prove to be a flavorful, but not overpowering, IPA.
The name is play on words. Reinheitsgebot, of course, is the German Beer Purity Law. Our Reins – ga – Hop adheres to that law thoroughly.
